Masai Mara National Reserve

The Masai Mara National Reserve is probably the most famous Reserve in Kenya. It offers spectacular views (as seen in the film "Out of Africa"), an extraordinary density of animals including "the Big Five" (lions, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros) and may varieties of plains wildlife.

An amazing sight is the annual migration of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles from the plains of the Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara's grasslands from late June, followed by predators: lion, leopard, cheetah, and hyena, and circled by vultures. Their dramatic river crossings can be seen when visiting in early July-August.

Wildlife viewing is excellent year round and sights include elephant, black rhino, buffalo, plains zebra, hartebeest and big cats, whilst the rivers are home to hippo and crocodiles. The luxury accommodation is well located within the Masai Mara region so as to maximize the visitors overall wildlife viewing experience, while providing relaxation in the wonderful scenery of the Masai Mara and at the luxury accommodation.

The Masai Mara is guaranteed to be a highlight of your luxury Kenya safari holiday, with a great variety of amazing sights and sounds for all to enjoy.
