Loldia House

Loldia House is only a two hour drive from Nairobi and within easy reach of Nairobi’s International Airport. It is a perfect place from which to begin your exciting safari holiday around Kenya. It is also conveniently located for day trips to the famous Lake Nakuru National Park. There are now also daily flights on Safari Link Aviation direct from Loldia House to the Masai Mara.

 

Cottars Luxury Camp

A 1920's era feel to this camp set near the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. This camp gives you the authentic feel of that unique era when the word 'safari' became indelibly imprinted on the imagination of the adventurer, past and modern. Extending an era of luxury and quality, Cottars Safari Service returns to the original spirit and essence of 'safari', reminiscent of a golden era - an era of romance, professional guiding, adventure and elegance.

The award winning Cottar's 1920's Safari Camp is situated in our extensive and exclusive concession between the Masai Mara, Serengeti and Loliondo reserves where a few Purko Masai clan roam. This area has been untouched by any kind of tourism or development and offers the discerning client a guarantee of privacy.

The luxury camp accommodates up to twelve clients in authentic white canvas tents, which are spacious and luxuriously furnished and incorporate original safari antiques from the '20's; private en suite dressing rooms and bathrooms (with old-fashioned showers and flushing toilets), the main bedroom and an outdoor veranda.

 

Naibor Luxury Camp

Naibor Camp is a luxury tented camp, a striking combination of contemporary style and comfort, in the heart of Kenya’s world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. The camp is hidden in a grove of riverine woodland on the banks of the Talek River and consists of sweeping pale canvas tents, king sized beds made from local fig-wood, wide sofas furnished with bolster cushions, and wool rugs - a luxurious base from which to explore the Mara. 

Since Naibor is in the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, guests are able to enjoy fabulous wildlife viewing throughout the year.  Naibor is also strategically placed for the wildebeest migration, being close to all the major wildebeest crossing sites over the Mara River.

 

Governors Il Moran Luxury Camp

The camp for those who want that extra bit of luxury. Governors’ IL Moran Luxury Camp is small and intimate, with added touches that make this the top of the range safari. IL Moran is widely regarded as the premiere camp in the Masai Mara.

Hidden under ancient trees, deep in the forest, are just 10 tents. They line the winding banks of the Mara River. You’ll be the personal guest of our manager, who’ll look after all your needs. Game drives and game walks are included in the rate and complimentary wine is served with dinner.

The Norfolk Hotel

The Norfolk Fairmont Hotel has played a leading role in Kenya's colourful history, and continues to be Nairobi's finest and best-known hotel. The town and later the modern city of Nairobi grew up around The Norfolk Fairmont Hotel, which still has its own private tropical gardens. The hotel is still the traditional starting point for safaris and the Lord Delamere Terrace is modern Nairobi's most famous meeting place, where drinks and light meals are served continuously from morning until midnight.
All guest rooms are luxuriously furnished, have plush carpeting and deep velour soft furnishings. The guest rooms all have bedside lamps, dressing tables, and built-in wardrobes, besides luggage racks. Every room has a telephone and telephone directory, direct dialling facilities, a television linked to satellite dish, electrical mosquito repellent and air conditioning.
There are six restaurants in the hotel, one to suit every mood and palate. The Tea Room offers traditional high-tea in a comfortable setting. The relaxed setting of the Cin Cin Wine Bar is the perfect spot to unwind, while the Lord Delamere Terrace is the ideal spot for people watching. The extensive room service menu is always an option when a more private setting is preferred.

 

Ol Seki Luxury Camp

Located In the heart of Eastern Koiyaki, Ol Seki Mara Camp offers 6 luxury “Nina” tents, each boasting a 270 degree panoramic view of the famous Maasai Mara, along with 2 brand new two bedroom “Suited” tents. Traditional colonial décor coupled with all the modern amenities provide guests with a genuine Safari experience.

Each uniquely designed bedroom tent remains completely hidden from the next, providing every client with the utmost privacy and seclusion. The abundance of wildlife in the Koiyaki area allows guests to enjoy big 5 game viewing in a pristine and untouched surrounding away from the hustle of mass tourism.

The thoughtful modern architecture creates an luxurious living space in our six uniquely rounded tents, each boasting a double and a single bed, dressed in the highest quality linen. A large en-suite bathroom and changing area with flush toilet and hot shower allow for total comfort whilst maintaining the Safari atmosphere.

Each Nina remains hidden from the next offering total privacy and seclusion. Six opening panels allow guests to enjoy a breathtaking 270 degree view of the Mara plains. All of our tents are designed to meet environmental demands, creating the smallest of footprints.

The “Ol Seki Suites” each boast two large units comprising of two bedroom tents either side of a private dining and living area. Guests staying in the suite will benefit from their own private kitchen, with a dedicated team of staff for each unit. Private access to and from game drives, provide an entirely exclusive Safari experience.

 

Governors Bateleur Luxury Camp

Governors Bateleur Luxury Camp is intimate in character, with just 17 luxury en-suite tents tucked around a large watering hole that teems with both birds and wildlife. The camp is approached by a boat ride across the Mara River, then an escorted walk through the riverine forest. Vehicles are left on the far river bank, and the camp is therefore quiet and undisturbed.
 
The guest luxury tents at Bateleur’s have recently been renovated and now have great wooden decks with large verandas for guests to enjoy the constant game activity that takes place around the watering hole at the camp.
 
All Governors’ properties are unfenced, and at Bateleur’s there is a resident family of warthogs that wander freely through the camp. Guests may need to make way for elephants which sometimes visit the camp at lunch time.
